Description

If you have ever visited the farm, no doubt you will have seen Beulah the Russian tortoise! During the summer, he lives with his friend, Love Dovie, over near Pumpkin the Ossabaw Island Hog! Because Beulah is such a popular part of the farm family, we decided to add this adorable ‘stuffy’ to our stuffed animal collection. It is amazing how much this guy resembles Beulah too!

Do you know the difference between a turtle and a tortoise? Generally, turtles live in the water whereas tortoises are land creatures. Although sea turtles have flippers vs feet, fresh water turtles, like tortoises, have feet. Russian tortoises live on the land and have sharp claws for digging in the soil or sand. Tortoises quite often dig deep enough in the soil or sand to cover themselves.

Unlike an actual Russian tortoise with a hard shell, this unique and adorable toy is soft and cuddly and makes the perfect friend for any turtle or tortoise lover! Wonderful for both children and adults alike, this realistic stuffed animal makes an ideal gift.

To clean, use warm water and mild soap for surface washing; air dry and brush to restore appearance of plush. Beulah measures approximately 9.5″ long by 7″ wide by 5″ high.
