I love enamelware; in fact, whenever I see some, I usually end up getting it! Although this white enamelware basin looks like an antique, it is not but, to me, it still has the same charm.
Enamelware is so versatile and if cared for properly, will last ‘forever’! I love my enamelware basin as it has so many uses.
At Christmas time, I fill it 3/4 full of water and then I add fresh cranberries, fresh greens from some of the evergreen trees up back and then add floating candles. The look of the floating cranberries and greens, coupled with the burning candles, makes the best centerpiece! Whenever I have guests over during the holidays, they always comment on how pretty it is. It lasts a long time too; you may need to add new candles, depending on how often you use it, but the cranberries and the greens stay fresh for weeks.
Place it on a table near the window and use it as a planter for growing herbs!
