Arapawa Island Goats are globally endangered and just recently added to the American Livestock Breeds Conservancy’s Conservation Priority List as ‘critical’ . Arapawa Goats were introduced to the U.S. through the Plimoth Plantation in 1992. The breed is supported by a small but active breeders association and their numbers continue to grow. Dalby Farm currently has 6 Arapawa Island Goats living at the farm and is actively involved in educating both children and adults about this amazing rare breed.
