Take some time to have some old-fashioned summer fun with your child! Join us Thursday mornings at 10:00 a.m., for our Pre-K Story Time. There will be two 4-week sessions that you can choose from. If you choose to attend both sessions, you won’t have to worry about repeated material because there will be eight different stories highlighting eight different rare farm breeds that live at Dalby Farm.

Bring a blanket and a peanut-free snack to enjoy during the story. One of our puppet friend co-hosts, Maxwell the goat or Hillary the lamb, will not only ‘help’ our story reader but also enjoy interacting with the children. After the story, you will meet the featured rare farm animal that lives on the farm! (We will the visit the featured animal ONLY. To visit all the animals, please book one of the Family Animal Encounters).

One child and one adult* can enjoy 4 weeks of stories for $50.00. Siblings are $25.00 each and additional adults are $5.00 per week. ***You can contact us before any given week to add an adult or a child (space permitting)***

If you choose to sign up for both sessions, then one child and one adult are $85.00 and additional siblings are $45.00 each, for all eight weeks. Additional adults remain at $5.00 per week.

*Adult must accompany child. As per the local Board of Health and Mass Law, masks must be worn by all participants and the 6 foot spacing rule will apply. There will be a maximum of 22 people per session therefore, we will be accepting registrations on a rolling basis. Once we have reached the maximum, we can add you to a waiting list.

** The actual time reading the story may vary from week to week but program time averages 30-45 minutes.

*** We will visit the featured animal only; to visit with other animals on the farm, we recommend that you sign up for Family Animal Encounters.

REFUNDS: We reserve the right to cancel a session due to low enrollment. In this case, a full refund would be given. Refunds, however, are not given for sick or absent days.
WEATHER: In the event of rain, we have an indoor space we will use for the story. Please wear rain gear for when we go visit the featured animal.
