One of my favorite Christmas ornaments is my ‘Sophie’ ornament. Actually, I must confess that I have an actual ‘flock’ of sheep Christmas ornaments hanging from my tree now, as over the years, I have created ornaments from wool from all of the sheep that we have had living at the farm. Some of our sheep are still with us whereas sadly, others have passed. Either way, I am so happy to have a ‘little piece’ of them so that at every year at Christmas, when I take them from the boxes and hang them on the tree, I always take a minute to reminisce about the time spent with each of these very special animals and how each one is, or has been, loved very much.
‘Sophie’ the sheep Christmas ornament is a wonderful gift for anyone that loves sheep or that has a special place in their heart for farm animals. Perfect for any country themed tree too!
Sophie the sheep Christmas ornament is a Dalby Farm original, handcrafted with love. Each ‘Sophie’ has a wooden body with match stick legs; her body is covered with her actual wool.
Sophie measures approximately 4″x 2.5″x 3″ although slight variations in size may occur.
